iPhone X walk-in/no order thread

soooo embarrassingly... fell asleep night of preorders after setting alarm , plugging phone charger.. turned out.. usb hub wasn’t plugged outlet phone died...

i’m camping out year.. haven’t walked in without preorder in years seems..the last time when 4 days , literally took 15 hours phone. because doing 1 walk-in every 10 preorders.. number 80 in line..

know aren’t @ days anymore. believe apple store opening @ 8 on friday. still handling preorders @ opening or doing walkins @ same time? have somewhere on friday , helps.. don’t want camp out , not end leaving till noon because of walk-in preorders..
in clifton nj.. isn’t far manhattan. i’m in orlando , i’m knowledgeable locations , 1 may or slowest.. way know best location?
can go across bridge grand central etc..or can go garden state plaza , willowbrook..

 

1. yes, limited stock available walk-in. apple "arrive early."
2. there 2 separate lines - 1 pre-order p/u, 1 walk-in
3. apple sends inventory anyone's guess assume ship stock proportional gross sales of each store. relative. store lower volume have shorter lines, less stock. bigger stores more stock, longer lines. hard game system here think. i'd pick store comfortable wait.
