hello, have been using mbp 2010 17" days , nights lot 2 years. before used rmbp 2012 , 2015 15". while using rmbp 2012 much, developed trigger finger (middle finger bent involuntarily). bit painful , took me 2 years recover. think when typed, fingers impacted keys of rmbp 15" keyboard , caused injury. wit mbp 2010, starting have same sensation again. so, these keyboards bad long-term use? external keyboards recommend? used use similar logitech k350 20 years ago. comfortable use did not type these days. came across cherry mx keys. keyboards made of such keys fingers long term use?   there's nothing wrong of keyboards. problem physical health. you're suffering ct or other problem bone spurs. simple inflammation (which root of many, many health-related issues). problem fixed adjusting height of chair. experienced pain in upper shoulder when working on computer. started hurt

hi, family of 2 , have enabled family sharing. works great, except our itunes , app store purchases not shared. assume because organizer (me) has 2 apple id's: 1 itunes store , 1 icloud account (because of historic reasons). partner luckily has 1 apple id. - family sharing (obviously) initiated icloud account. - family consists of our 2 icloud id's while apple id used itunes purchases not part of family. - have apple music family account (my music library linked apple id itunes store). how can partner access itunes purchases? solution 1) tried log in apple id itunes purchases on partners' iphone in itunes store assuming enable access itunes purchases. worked! had annoying side-effect replaced partner's music music library. solution 2) apple support suggested sign out of apple id itunes store, , able add account family sharing (as "fake" third person). tried not work iphone , mac refuse add me states i'm part of family

firstly, system: macpro 4,1 updated 5,1 firmware dual x5690 processors (delidded), dual 2.26 56gb of ram (7x8gb, 1 stick faulty , never bothered replace) gtx980 flashed mac firmware generic usb 3.0 card 4 spindle drives, ssd in second optical slot i did processor upgrade month ago, computer has been running 24/7 since @ idle , has been stable. video card, ram, usb card, hard drives, , firmware have been installed on year w/o issue. couple of days ago started doing heavy processing on new processors, sustained 100% processor usage across cores numerous hours. processor temperatures seemed peak under 180*f , stay there. afternoon came home find screen blank, computer restarted fine. diagnostic report stated there kernel panic intel cpu power management kext. started run system @ full blast again, , after 30 minutes or came blank screen, time computer restart blank screen , not chime. happen have spec'ed macpro stock 2.66 processors in it, swappe

ok. here go ... i working , xcel kept closing. so, did hard restart. nothing. no response. then did again while holding down command + r. when taken disk utility, tried reinstall os only, indicated both disks locked. (2 partitioned drives) i read online turning on journaling option greyed out. other things read sounded complicated , out of depth. i not want erase disk if possible. (fyi, niece's laptop before died. partitioned not know with.) would appreciate insights may have. called repair place after calling apple, closed. had leave message. after speaking apple care rep gently scolded me having lion on machine , not 1 of recent updates. tried wasn't sure older, early-2011 machine running lion 10.7.5. got stumped both disks being locked. gave me number repair place. not have time machine enabled. have terrabyte drive copied folders , photos 2-3 months ago @ least. so, i'm trying resolve without erasing drive if possible.

i have 2012 macbook pro micron 512 ssd , running high sierra works fine not chime. everywhere online "no chime" conversations accompanied startup issues or elementary issue of no knowing how operate sound preference pane. neither of these issue. computer starts normally, no chime. pram , smc reset not nor disc repair. buy , sell macbook pros , use them extensively before selling them warranty , repair them needed. have been doing years , never seen issue. have seen occasional strange boot behavior. once in great while boot process exhibit aberrant behavior. 1 time booted desktop , returned apple , progress bar before returning desktop. isolated incident , boots properly. mention wonder if chime issue might harbinger of gpu issue (as veteran repair people know) singular problem apple laptops.   is 15" mbp? don't think gpu problem common 13" intel video. had 13" 2011

hi, noticed ios 11, os auto capitalizes lot of 'non names' words long in contacts. example, if save contact called jason tennis, ios tends capitalize word 'tennis'.
