hi all had functioning mac sierra os windows 10 home bootcamp. unfortunately went wrong during update in windows (not sure updating) , windows won't boot up. find way fix without reinstalling windows if possible. think need find way "advanced start options windows" can recover earlier point in time cannot work out how bring menu up. can toggle between windows , mac os on start holding option key on restart. mac os runs perfectly. if chose windows 4 squares windows logo timer underneath (per attached pic), after 10 seconds or moved blank screen timer(see attached pic), , after several minutes whole thing restarts , cycle repeats. i'm hoping there combination of keys can hold bring windows advanced options menu. have experimented holding down f2 , f8 on restart doesn't seem anything. thing seem able hold down option on start choice of whether try starting in windows or mac os. i'm bit of novice , simp

so i've been struggling come suitable network environment throughout house. not consider large house think may complex walls , wiring have running throughout (and kitchen pretty in middle i'm sure theres interference there). did renovation year ago , ran cat7 cable main media closet (where primary modem/router come in) basement , bedroom closet upstairs on opposite end of house. had google wifi setup both satellites wired base unit (via netgear gigabit switch , in part of house had google onhub set satellite wasn't hard wired.) overall worked well. few weeks ago upgraded internet connection fios gigabit - mac, hardwired through same switch gets utterly unnecessary 900+mbps connection know i'm getting bandwidth i'm paying for. found out google wifis wouldn't support 1gb connection switched them out linksys velop setup. again, 1 primary unit connected modem, 2 more connected via ethernet , 3rd satellite wireless. i'm finding d

i have latest ios 11.2.1 on iphone 7+ , trying use files app. under locations, when select icloud drive directs me turn on icloud drive , gives me hot key take me settings page. on settings page slider turn on icloud drive greyed out. did research , have made sure restrictions turned off. matter of fact enabled restrictions, rebooted, disabled restrictions , rebooted again cycle on , off. still no help. have plenty of space on icloud (190 gig free) , i've tried logging out of icloud on phone , signing in. pita because had setup apple pay again. btw, wife's iphone not have icloud drive slider greyed out. don't know else try. ideas?   problem device profile required work receive company emails. problem had several restrictions concerning using cloud. removed profile , icloud drive works no more company emails. sucks.   Forums

i'm running issue iphone x seems image quality gets reduced when set photo camera roll wallpaper. wallpaper images appear darker , more dull. attached couple pics illustrate i'm referring to. 1 image taken settings app (screenshot while trying crop/center image) , other desktop/wallpaper. idea why image quality reduced when set photo wallpaper? design app icons "pop" more against wallpaper? side note - in general seems pervasive on iphone x. iphone 6 seems it's brighter , images more "brilliant" (for lack of better term). whites seem brighter , colors seem "pop" more on iphone 6. iphone x display seems bit darker (even on max brightness truetone turned off) , dull.   noticed same thing on mine. have black wallpaper knicks logo in middle. in photos app, orange , blue in logo pop, once it's set wallpaper, colors seem darker.

hi all. not sure if best place question don't know if macbook photos issue, iphone 8 plus issue, or ios 11 issue. ever since moving on 8 plus , ios 11, having major issues trying import photos , videos cameral roll photos application on macbook. in newer photos app, larger portion of pictures , videos not showing available import. , of videos do, when try import, following error: cannot import item item cannot added photo library because may recognizable file format or file may not contain valid data. reason code states: unsupported file type cannot life of me figure out. photos or pics taken on phone, , since moving ios 11. not sure if has new heif/hevc format have turned on? think taken iphone, plays without issue on iphone, not unsupported macbook photo app. has read on or had happen them? want these files on computer. thanks.   Forums iPho

last week returned iphone-8-plus , ordered new x because "supposed" better display , more compact design; easier carry , brighter shoot photos , videos on sunny days. learn " minor screen burn-in , shifts in colour" of new oled display. have these concerns, did not find answer yet: how screen burn-in show when using x @ normal brightness levels , increasing when shooting photos , videos on sunny days? going happen no matter what, or continuous use @ high levels of brightness, such playing games or watching movies? believe important aspect of screen burn-in issue, helpful hear experiences have x. thanks.   from understand, sometime in future, it's probable no matter avoid doing, you'll have minor burn in, if it's icons on home screen. that's consider indeed, if spend 1000$ , intend have more 2 years guess.
