hi everyone. girlfriend has iphone 6s, bought in phillipines , it's locked carrier smart. lives in thailand , make phone work thai sim had buy chip put in sim. , chip has worked flawlessly. phone acting earlier today decided factory reset , hope of problems gone. reset went fine, of course didn't think wouldn't able log in apple account without sim card smart. , of course doesn't have original sim card anymore. after hours of googling problem ask here if has suggestion how bypass sim carrier. if jailbreaking solution we're willing try that. i'm not in thailand i'm trying best here abroad. in advance edit: see maybe there better category post this, sorry that.   i think referring gevey sim type , has updated ios , no longer works solution unlocked via bay or sell   Forums iPho

i have problem family member’s western digital passport drives. has 27” 2017 imac. has 2 new wd usb 3 drives. regularly swapped , used time machine backups, unreliable. gets message titled “time machine couldn’t complete backup to...”, “unable complete backup. error occurred while creating backup folder”. if ejects drive, unplugs , plugs in backup fine. says can put imac sleep, wake , manually force backup. if backs up. other times can wake machine , find error. have ideas? don’t think related couldn’t reformat these drives hfs+ when got them using apple’s disk utilty. couldn’t rename drive either. had use western digital utility reformat drive. after rename drive. western digital blame nonsense or apple? i’ve used wd drives in past , loved them, unacceptable.   if drives format own utility points being wd problem - i've not heard of specific problem this...

for little on year , half i've been experiencing weird trackpad behaviour on mid-2012 macbook pro. @ first noticed either got extremely sensitive or super slow, lowered speed. making weird sounds when clicked, if displaced on topcase. found strange solution online of grabbing mbp it's side , clicking while holding that- surprisingly worked several times, temporary fix. more response issues, not doing when clicked, not letting me select text, etc. past few months has been behaving fine until today, when again it's not letting me select text properly. noticed problem gets worse if rest palm on aluminium body, particularly on left side i've experienced right side. got service battery warning (of talked in different thread) , decided live while local aasp overcharges lot. sign battery swelling? should worry it? i've been told macbook's trackpads known fail, true newer models, case mine?

hi all, having trouble smart keyboard in microsoft office? found getting keyboard lag in microsoft word when using track changes. unfortunately because bought machine 2 weeks before didn't have time play around machine before losing return window. returned both machine , keyboard. able determine track changes worked fine without lag when typing on screen. know problem keyboard; don't know how affected word or other apps too. realised after i'd returned have updated ios 11. has had problem lag?   i have not experienced lag. might want try putting ipad in airplane mode , trying again. i've found ms office ipad wants sync every keystroke or pen stroke cloud. i've gotten habit of turning on airplane mode when go meeting , using onenote take notes. turn off when meeting done , let sync then.   Forums

i had problem on sierra, , having intermittently on high sierra. use mail , have exchange mail account set in internet accounts. have icloud , google set normally. sometimes, i'll notice exchange email stops updating, realize internet accounts have reverted version exchange server office 365 instead of current exchange setup (hasn't been office 365 on year) , in addition facebook , twitter accounts show well, they're deactivated. google , icloud not change. setup looks have used late 2015/early 2016. i'll delete added, re-add current exchange mail account, , mind business return , mail stop working. searching issues has not been helpful since cannot find real solution people problem. now, use icloud keychain , figure fault there in internet account synching since current mbp never had these internet accounts keep showing up. but. have installed fresh version of os x high sierra already. reset icloud keychain device's keychain. c

i bought imac 21.5' 2017 on jan. 2nd 2018 in japan. regarding applecare, according apple japan says can buy applecare+ until 30 days after purchase. https://www.apple.com/jp/support/products/mac.html since don't have money buy now, want buy normal applecare within 1 year limited warranty period. no information regarding anywhere. having similar experiences? , if can go normal applecare within year apple need check hardware before issuing me applecare plan?   i don't know sure japanese release, in us, applecare + available imac. it's 60 days system purchase add acare+ but, page appears show time period told - within 30 days. because not buying acare+ @ time of purchase, apple can run remote diagnostic @ time ready purchase acare+ can call applecare this, if like, same answer: older applecare product not available now.   Foru

i have 2010 mba smallish 128gb hard drive. have nifty drive 128gb micro sd card leave installed, , have photos photo library installed on. have 2tb hd use backups. computer 128 ssd drive kinda full other stuff, plus 128 nifty drive getting full. of photo library space videos. how can move videos location (like hd use backups), while keeping photo library on nifty drive? can stay in same photo library kind of format, in way when can still upload/sync them iphone or ipad if don’t keep them in same exact location photo library on nifty drive? if matters mba on high sierra, i’m having issues safari causing computer slow crawl after safari runs while reason. that’s thread lol. thanks brad   i don't know photo library, perhaps approach: getting 1 of 200 gb micro sd cards?   Forums Macs
