my use case quite usual , i'm wondering why nobody (?) came out solution. have car wired carplay. want plug phone , drive. now, there lot of "mounts", can mount phone in place need, 1) don't need screen visible (i'd rather prefer rather hidden in case leave in car); 2) connecting bit of hassle since have slip phone dock, connect cable. i'd have small "docking" station, connected usb in car.   what i'm waiting sort of wireless carplay adapter. seems me can create device can install car connects iphone wirelessly , converts signal wired plug can plug car, car thinks iphone plugged in, yet iphone thinks connected wireless carplay vehicle. had devices years ago did car ipod adapters. i'm surprised nobody has created such device yet.   Forums iPhone, iPad, and iPod To

i have iphone 6 10.3.3. have had issues w/this phone since day 1, don't have money replace it. has been laggy, screen freezes. actual phone app won't open (i blank screen red hang-up button, no dial pad -- have dump app memory , restart it). camera randomly takes forever load. geekbench 4 consistently testing iphone cpu single core around 1050. i've seen other gb4 testing should put iphone 6 @ 1200+ (i've seen 1 test 1400). thinking of rebuilding phone, load ios11. could, of course, wipe data , content keep 10.3.3, wondering if there's wrong ios install. not sure best course. think cpu benchmark of 1050 way low? new ios install anything, or given score, make worse? so, have had issues fd in imac15,1 pretty since got it. loads of trouble bootcamp, fd become "unfused" multiple times, , problems performance. 2 weeks ago, in windows environment, did update there, , went south. fd apparently failing. not install os reliably in either environment, getting i/o error, , problems drive, decided replace it. hesitant retina screen glued/taped on, , looked relatively major surgery, ended switching out 3tb fd 2tb ssd. major difference, , happy switch, but... apparently when drive switched out, it's hd portion of fd only, not 128gb ssd portion. so, terminal reports in diskutil list 2tb ssd disk1 (further partitioned 1tb in windows/1tb mac), , disk0 (i think) 128gb ssd. when hold "option" during startup, option of windows partition, "macdisk" 1tb mac partition, first option "macintosh disc" slow boot, , fails "cross out" symbol. wondering if 128gb ssd, without install of mac

so, mozilla appears have released firefox quantum; claim have rebuilt browser ground up, speed improvements in-mind. and, well, have following: have tried out within sierra, on modern mac, , can conclude mozilla has made browser that's fast , efficient. has got great powerpc users, assuming tenfourfox updated these technologies. it's going make application run better on ppc macs ever before. personally, loathe how slow , hungry firefox/tenfourfox is; so, if marks turnaround, i'm relieved. it's great firefox user - including powerpc-mac users. can't wait update; i'll go test on powermac g5. p.s. new icon design + new tab design.   as exciting x86, have feeling rewrite ground unlikely ported powerpc. maybe there components can adapted. understand, tenfourfox one-dev operation compared mozilla’s team of hundreds (thousands?) of developers/contributors.

hello! happened salvage old 2009 macbook pro 15 inch non-retina. didnt come hard drives , os, threw in ssd , made bootable usb drive macos mountain lion, in hopes of upgrading os later. issue when hold down control access startup options on boot, comes white screen , cursor, , nothing else! i've tried loading safe mode , recovery system. short time apple logo showed i'm getting file question mark, regardless of do. i've done nvram , smc resets, unplugged ssd , ran usb itself, unplug battery bit, , other jazz. still no luck. first apple product i'm new , forums, made bootable usb windows 10 using transmac. don't know if make difference i'm throwing out possible options. ideas/tips on how fix this? said i'm new appreciated. thanks!   Forums Macs Notebooks MacBook Pr

so i’ve been bouncing between iphone models few months try different sizes, , decided land on 6s. on each transition, backed current phone , restored new phone backup. gather, can lead random problems. don’t know if it’s due ios11, i’m having issues phone freezes 5-10 seconds , goes normal. long story short, i’m considering reset , not restoring backup give phone clean start. however, i’d carry on activity/health data aw, , lesser extent, keep message history. searches, can’t tell if possible. have experience doing this? sorry if asked , answered before. searching forums produces lot of random results didn’t seem apply. can provide!   well, did reset. tell, long unpaired aw before reset, backup of activity data made. couldn’t find restoring messages, wasn’t concerned since @ least still on mac if needed them reference. after resetting iphone. set new device. once , running re-paired aw. never p
