i have 3 mac mini's on network , 3 family mac books. 1 mac desktop; 1 runs server on time , runs plex, , 1 runs parallels , use windows 7 machine. 3 mac books plugged in every once in while backed up. have qnap nas transferring files holds plex library. right 2 tc's everynight. bought ccc , wd 8tb easy share drive. i'd make full backup's using ccc, getting bogged down on how on network. should mount 8tb ext drive qnap , have ccc backup images on drive? or should mount/create 6 disk drives on ext. drive , have ccc make 6 bootable backups? convert 1 of ccc images files on nas bootable version on usb drive later on? ccc seems easy use, getting confused on best way , have run automatically.   mate, folks @ bombich fantastic. drop em email explaining need & walk through it.   Forums

i've spent last few days outlining how upgrade/replace external hard drives. 1 thing can't answer if need raid (1, 5, 10, etc) anymore. memory affordable, 'm thinking of doing away raid configurations , replacing them backups instead. here proposed 4-bay enclosure configuration: disk 1-2 (raid 0) yes, know said no more raids, disk 1-2 speed. disk 3 (back of disk 1-2) automatically backs anytime adobe/phase 1 closes. disk 4 (back of disk 3) automatically backs after each x day/week(s). there separate backup of disk 4 runs on monthly basis , gets stored @ separate location. can explain how running raid (1, 5, 10, etc) beneficial? thank time.   lol. raid relevant still. raid fault tolerance not performance. @ risk of teaching suck eggs , apologise in advance if am... r means redundant - thats fault tolerant bit...   Forums

for iphone 6 , 6s had 1 silicone , 2 leather cases (apple, natch). liked them all, however, leather cases became more coarse in areas side, hold phone, due sweat, guess. it's hard describe - small bubbles started forming. had on first case (black), on newer 1 (saddle brown) used new "european leather". please note, not talking patina - darkening of leather - naturally developed (and looks quite nice me, actually). also, generally, leather cases seemed more worn after year (again, not talking patina/discoloration, fine) on other hand, white silicone case remained pristine , after year of use, it's same day one. so, it's time case again, , wondering people here prefer. thing is, how saddle brown looks , think feels in hand. also, don't know when apple changed this, leather cases have metal buttons, cool. however, wouldn't surprised wear badly again. also, after watching detroitborg's iphone x cases video, notes silicone c

hello, i'm having issue troubleshooting printing issue , hope has encountered , fixed same issue might able help. have macbook latest high sierra , hp officejet 4658 multi-function printer connecting using home router (bt smart hub 6). installed printer following hp instructions (i believe printer using airprint) , both print , scanner function work without problem. issue is, after while (few hours or few days), print function stops working: macbook hangs on "looking printer" step and/or "failed connecting printer" error. @ same time, when happening, printer still connected wifi network, other devices can print. same macbook fails printing i'm able use scanner function. seems point stuck macos printing systems, however: - not able find sequence of steps on macbook solve problem , allow printing... after rebooting macbook printing problem persists - action systematically seems fix problem reboot wifi router alone has c
