pleased report proud owner of blueberry, 1st gen ibook g3 clamshell ! first time i've held clamshell ibook in hands since 2001. hardly see of these macs less $1/mhz here in australia, lucky spot 1 in decent condition relatively low price (about $75 usd inc shipping). ibook listed untested seller because didn't have power supply run it. when arrived though, plugged in pismo's power supply, hit power button , appeared in working order. booted mac os 9.1 previous owner's files scattered on place, plus installation of old mac classic "where in world carmen sandiego". tried launching it, game wouldn't run without disc. system folder curiously tucked away inside documents folder on desktop - gotta love os9's "i don't care reside" system folder approach. judging date modified information on existing files/hdd, looks mac hadn't been touched since 2003. appears stock config; 300mhz g3 512k l2 cache @ 1

hey, i've used calendars in way years no trouble , out of blue few months started seeing problem. i've searched forums , spoken apple support no avail. it's quite complex issue spans calendars across ios , macos apologies if i've posted in wrong forum. the issue: use apple calendars (no google/ office etc...). have multiple calendars set work, travel, personal , these sync'd across iphone, ipad , macbook pro (all date os). in work calendar have input 16 week rota pattern - 'all day' events recur every 16 days on day no end date repeat. used before problem arose open 'all day' event couple of weeks before hand , input more details (change title, change event day set start , end time, notes), when saving event i'd select changes made event, recurring rota pattern isn't affected. when try in icloud 'server error' message , event won't save. if try on macbook pro 'all day' tick box option gre

here's weird 1 you. ever since updating high sierra have had problem desktop being slow refresh. when take screenshot or save desktop takes anywhere 10 60+ seconds item show up. if create folder or drag file desktop finder shows immediately. if same thing in path finder or through terminal, it's delayed. applies both creating , deleting items outside of finder. have tried far: restoring finder deleting it's preference file verifying disk , filesystem cleaning caches onyx none of these things have made improvements. see if it's problem on system or user account level, created account , tested there, , no problem! it's account has problem. there's issue may related: when delete stuff external drives, trash can show has contents in it, when opening in finder, there's nothing there. have eject , remount drives trashes show , deleted. true both old drives , brand new drives newly formatted. so question is: has else has is
