google today announced has merged android pay , google wallet 1 consolidated payments service called google pay.

on coming weeks, google said users able use google pay online, in stores, , across google products, , google wallet's existing peer-to-peer payment functionality continue supported.

google pay available in select first-party apps such youtube , chrome, , in airbnb, dice, fandango, hungryhouse, instacart, , select other third-party apps , websites on android , in chrome.

google pay branding rolled out in apps, websites, , next payment terminals in stores android pay branding , decals retired.

google pay along samsung pay apple pay's biggest rivals among mobile payment services. google pay competes apple's launched peer-to-peer payment service apple pay cash in united states.

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fin...
