Anyone notice Netflix works better on 2.4ghz than 5ghz?


weird situation. happens on netflix , no other app. netflix spin little red circle , not play.

deleted app, signed in, rebooted etc. still spins red circle in netflix app. playing around , switched 5ghz band 2.4ghz. , bam! netflix streams 4k perfectly. no issues. switch 5ghz , spins red netflix circle. every other app works fine.
 

how 5ghz signal strength? device running netflix on?

generally, best use ethernet connections when possible. instance, if netflix running on appletv4k, , can connect atv wired network @ 1gbps, there little fear of interference, weak signals, or other factors can deteriorate wifi performance. 5ghz vs 2.4ghz should irrelevant application long wifi signals solid. netflix 4k should use 20-25mbps of bandwidth, connection method job.

maybe there flaw in netflix app on whatever platform running on, if so, report netflix can address it.

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
