anyone else had similar incident sending in ipad through apple’s carrier ups? pristine 2 month old ipad stopped charging past 2%. happened after ios update 11. tried trouble shooting before calling on phone. representative did on phone diagnostic , said it’s battery. couldn’t physically go in store asked if other options. closest ups store not far , set told me box, label , ready. drop off, guys gives me receipt , leave store.
days later email pictures stating how ipad bent , wanted me pay it!! still didn’t check problem sent in for. first time ever sending in product , i’m shocked. on hold ever , i’m waiting 2 day while investigate happened , wait until friday response. want tell me if don’t agree pay bent chassis won’t fix it. have ipad doesn’t charge , bent. way bent requires force can’t imagine how duplicate, though purposeful. second wondered if pissed of ups guy . how should go forward?
my common sense tells me if ups damages goods, need speak them make them accountable. it’s not apple’s problem if given broken device , surely shouldn’t problem either.
