Safari 11 why no 3rd party cookie blocking.


i delete cookies regularly i've discovered 3rd party cookie blocking in safari 11 doesn't have option longer. correct or missing something.

below latest advice apple published 6th sept 2017 there no option allow current website in latest safari 11.0.2

choose safari > preferences, click privacy, of following:

  • change cookies , website data accepted: select “cookies , website data” option:
    • always block: safari doesn’t let websites, third parties, or advertisers store cookies , other data on mac. may prevent websites working properly.

    • allow current website only: safari accepts cookies , website data website you’re visiting. websites have embedded content other sources. safari not allow these third parties store or access cookies or other data.

    • allow websites visit: safari accepts cookies , website data websites visit. safari uses existing cookies determine whether have visited website before. selecting option helps prevent websites have embedded content in other websites browse storing cookies , data on mac.

    • always allow: safari lets websites, third parties, , advertisers store cookies , other data on mac.
