iPhone X - Random restarts?


i got iphone x yesterday, , i'm happy phone. issue have pretty killer phone randomly shuts down , restarts.

can use while seems go unstable, screen shuts down, , after few seconds apple logo appears, it'll go black , reappear , after minute or on lock screen , prompt me enter passcode after iphone restarts when trying unlock or use face id. iphone 7 had rare reboot didn't require me enter passcode every time. restoring phone doesn't seem resolve either.

seems happen @ random, lot of time it's if you're interacting in way, such opening camera , changing video, using siri, swiping out of music app, it's if intensive causing phone panic , shut down.

else having similar issues or might have defective unit? (just luck!)

in advance advice can give
 

return it. no such problems x. sounds hardware problem.

Other Unknown error

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fin...
