I want to edit videos for myself and other people

im doing photography lot of clients , photographers demand video skills too. @ point, can not photography im thinking learn video editing programs myself , other people such game streamers, youtubers, more. gaining skills main objective far.

see people use adobe premiere pro , after effects can not afford spend $600 per year since im paying photoshop , lightroom. yes, im poor student. well, can still access school computers have software. im thinking , learn either final cut pro or davinci resolve instead of premiere pro. hear advice. im not going dig video editing seriously.

 

when video editing, mean? if want crash clips together, easy, video editing more putting sequence together, there grading, making clips good, technology evolves 6k , 8k, , beyond, terms such hdr, lut, log, rec start become important.

actual use of example final cut pro x, or resolve not complex, there tutorials online can teach this, have learn how use terms hdr, lut, log , relationships video , stills photography.

gone days of simple filming, people demand greater skills in grading actual editing, after apps able edit on device, grading, making image way, still human skill, , becoming in demand. tools such color finale, or deep grading skills of resolve should looking.

not sure youtubers, tend work themselves, editing in house, can done using laptop , mouse/trackpad.

learn how solve problems, such best hard drive/ video editing/color grading set up, how use hdr, , no not going explain terms such hdr/lut/log/rec,x...

learn how construct network, how link devices, on top of how edit.....the business has changed on last 25 years, , become more complex in years come..sadly devices buy today, in 2 or 3 years no longer function same high level, , takes constant work generate income keep replacing obsolete computers new versions..poor state of mind, not fact of life!!

if have smart '"ish" phone camera, or point , shoot camera, use film simple events, build skills , old ipad imovie can used, learn relationships between clips, how cut something, , how cut on not same thing, 1 technical, , 1 intuition..film schools good, rest learn university of hard knocks..
