Would it be wise to get a USB-C compatible Monitor for MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2016)??


hi, need buy external monitor macbook pro (13-inch, 2016). using graphic , web design mainly. looking @ 34" curved wide screen options online. can steer me in right direction on whether should go monitor usb-c connection? seem quite expensive , not widespread. or connectivity , performance not effected if go non usb-c monitor , adapter to pair macbook pro....??? suggestions appreciated...
 

my opinion only:

display is, first , foremost, "good display", , wouldn't worry usb-c capabilities. there many more choices if don't absolutely require usb-c connectivity.
prefer display is... "just display".

having said that, wary of curved displays. uses -- such photo editing -- understand can distort image, etc. since mentioned "graphic design", become issue you. ymmv...

Other Unknown error

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fin...
