how many of iphones made out alive/fully functioning time done them? in-general gentle mine, came realization 5s (barely) useable time let go. switch when there's terrible going on last one:

-3gs: 2 years in quit charging... unless turned off. wouldn't sync (in exact version before on wifi.) power button broke

-4: home button quit working half time, volume buttons didn't have effect after couple years (collapsed internally)

-5s: still works fine but... month after 3 year supply of bumper covers wore out, dropped , whole aluminum frame bent, partly detaching screen. yet, nothing else affected. never liked how fragile aluminum frame vs. 4

-7 : one's still good, got used last week. perfect condition. fingers crossed
 

i’ve been using iphones since 3g , worked fine when upgraded. either sold phone in working condition or phone handed down wife.

Other Unknown error

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fin...
