UAG Monarch case damaged Iphone 7plus

i'm in process of upgrading iphone 7plus iphone x. i've had 7plus 1 year , been in uag monarch case entire time.
loved case , going buy 1 new iphone x.

however...in order upgrade have return 7plus , turn in. took case off , noticed left marks on of phone.
figured typical marks can clean off, got microfiber cloth , started trying clean them off. nope, after trying , trying (different gentle methods) looked close , noticed marks literally etched phone !! , can see honeycomb design case.

i'm careful phones. i've never had cracks or scratches in years of having different phones , cases. of phones i've turned in or sold far older , looked flawless.
now, phones looks horrible. , did keep in case year. normal use, nothing out of ordinary. i'm pretty sure phone not accepted way looks. leaving me stuck phone can't sell or turn in.

?? can "buy" phone verizon $400 dollars can upgrade. can't sell way. or i'm stuck phone in condition. un-acceptable , i've never had problem such that. have heard of cases not doing job of protecting phone, damage ??
upset now!

i'm sure i've somehow "caused" happen, or marks can cleaned. assure you, etched in. , i've done nothing "strange" phone or case @ !

 

if search old threads... uag cases have been doing years.

sorry don't have answers though.... support wasn't fault.

have tried rubbing alcohol? or wrapped lense cleaner?


last.. try magic eraser.... leave micro scratches... super fine sandpaper removes top layer..

that's why said try last... might make 90% better... try small spot first.
