apple has reportedly selected taiwanese manufacturing company tsmc remain exclusive supplier of so-called "a12" processors trio of new iphone models expected launch in second half of 2018, according digitimes.

report, citing unnamed sources within apple's supply chain, claims a12 chip manufactured based on improved 7nm process, should pave way type of performance improvements see in new iphones each year.

after recent revelations, apple need start re-think strategy regard iphones , processors.

a12 screaming fast time ever start underclocking them. iphones don't need fast, they're more adequate task can throw @ next few years.

sorely need right reliable, long battery life, long shelf life , not suffer artificial slowdown or power cut outs @ 30% after year. underclocking can this.
