System Information - "Storage" Questions
i sadly getting ready sell 2011 macbook pro due lack of use. work computer , phone/ipad see of time these days. past weekend created profile on laptop , used migration assistant move of files over. has 250gb hard drive , should more sufficient files have since utilize lot of icloud storage.
- music folder 38.47 gb , stored directly on hd.
- both have our photo libraries on cloud "optimize storage" selected; however, still show each of ours taking on 30 gb piece. seem right? can't see how optimizing storage.
- "documents" folder in below screenshot 37 gb, have no idea contains. accounting photos , music folders in other categories , there hardly in documents folder.
feels system double counting storage here.

have run diskwave see if more detail. shows music , photo libraries stored in user folder. have attached scan of hd. seems off isn't using entire 178 gb saying being used.
suggestions or thoughts?

check "iphoto library" in ~/pictures/ folder, may left on when upgraded photos in yosemite 10.10.3. if find it, it's "linked" photos library not technically taking space, if have optimize turned on iphoto library won't optimize. it's safe delete.
optimize icloud photo library allows macos remove photos mac, if needed - e.g. if you're getting low on disk space. if have room, they're downloaded better performance can trashed if space gets lower.
