2015 15" MBP or 2017 13" nTB?


hi all,

thoughts on issue i'm having. i'm on market new mbp torn between 2017 13" ntb , 2015 15".

first, considering 2017 13". i'm student, record logic hobby. audio interface firewire-based. although newest mbps thunderbolt 3, i'm not hard pressed enter world of dongles.

worries me, however, concerns on keyboards on 2016s , presumably 2017s.

2015 15" comes in. on refurbished store (canada), 15" (2.2ghz quad-core i7, 16gb, 256ssd, iris pro/no discrete graphics) ~$50 cheaper comparable 2017 13" (2.3ghz dual-core, 16gb, 256ssd, iris plus 650).

15", read, great. it's robust. has ports need. has magsafe. has light-up apple on lid. haha!

guys think? keyboards more robust on 2015 models 2017s? , how processing power/graphics capabilities compare? 13" ntb better option given future of tb3?

honestly buy whichever logic biggest thing how ram have anyway want 16gb instruments , plug ins.

there massive difference in portability between 2 2017 13 inch tiny , light , perfect class, 2015 15 inch far bigger machine carry around fit on desks etc.

doesn’t sound need real gpu power looking @ refurb 13 inchers if you.

OWC Envoy Pro SSD Enclosure - Alternatives?
