Decision to Keep the X
it has been 2 weeks since release of x , have had since day 1. @ first feeling faint silly coming 7+. comparing screen size identical, clarity on x better still questioning keep $1200 phone. after couple weeks went , forth device me? it’s quickness, clarity , ease of use swipes , simplicity made me start fee natural. when bought 7+ went , forth if big, should go 5 or 5s. after 14 day stretch decided keep x daily driver , see happens think device great form factor there along ability have ease of use.
i can’t use x daily driver. can use weekend driver that’s not practical. footprint of 6/7/8 fits needs better because can use footprint comfortably , securely 1 hand preferred way use iphone. when first got x weekend , using in house naked , fantastic. same size 7 magpul. weekend on , need light medium protective case during week , when put otterbox symmetry case on that’s when went downhill. couldn’t use comfortably , securely 1 hand in situations. either had stable or dropped lot when trying use 1 hand luckily on surfaces wouldn’t have cracked screen. dropped couple times standing in bus cause when tried use 1 handed had let go of bar in bus , when bus stopped x flew out of hand.
tried apple silicon case made better need more protection that. of week demands more protective case makes footprint bigger. damn wanted work , tried heck.
6/7/8 footprint me perfect compromise. screen has been big enough watch movies etc , still can use 1 handed surety , comfort.
hoping x have been 6/7/8 full edge edge screen plus model. didn’t happen , people me sh*t out of luck.
