How to remove installer on write locked SSD and boot normal ?


is there can prevent booting installer?

owc aurora ssd "write locked" , macos high sierra upgrade cannot proceed despite multiple restarts. same problem if boot macos high sierra usb flash drive.

tried booting single user mode , deleting installer without success.
fsck -fy
rm -rf install\ macos\ high\ sierra
exit​

fsck command returns disk ok. disk utility repair reports disk errors , must reformatted.

sierra booting fine until tried update high sierra. stuck in installer loop , cannot update , cannot go running sierra.

tips or suggestions appreciate?

well first have mount file system it. want type "mount -uw /" first.
if there errors disk utility cannot fix many need diskwarrior. time information , clean install.

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
