Face ID update


i got replacement iphone x week ago due gps issues. new unit exhibits same gps issues other have been happy it.

1 of unexpected things after week phone: face id works every time! recognizes me first attempt , lets me unlock immediately. has consistently been case in bright light , in morning in pretty complete darkness!
 

very unlikely have gps issues on both of devices seeing hardware thing. sure it’s issue device?

face id seems working lot of people. still prefer convenience of touch id.

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
