Other Could Apple have made a pop up saying it’s time to change the battery instead of slowing our iPhones

, yes... apple have avoided entire fiasco having pop-up (like did ios 11.2 explaining wifi / bluetooth toggles in control center) explains customers battery had degraded potentially lower battery life or cause shutdowns, , telling them turn on throttling option in settings menu or pay battery replacement.

fact apple has been caught red-handed after fact, them giving vague statement no real information on matter, , them potentially having profit motive in of this... makes whole situation stink.

it's aristobrat said in other thread , apple getting ready have "antennagate" media event explain , offer better solutions in future repair customer trust.

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
