Apple Seeds Second Beta of macOS High Sierra 10.13.3 to Developers

apple today seeded second beta of upcoming macos high sierra 10.13.3 update developers, 1 week after seeding first beta , 2 weeks after releasing macos high sierra 10.13.2, second major update macos high sierra operating system.

macos high sierra 10.13.3 beta can downloaded apple developer center or through software update mechanism in mac app store proper profile installed.

it's not yet clear improvements third update macos high sierra bring, it's include bug fixes , performance improvements issues weren't addressed in macos high sierra 10.13.2.

no major outward-facing changes discovered in first beta of macos high sierra 10.13.3, we'll update post should new features found in second beta.

previous macos high sierra 10.13.2 update focused solely on security fixes , performance improvements, no new features introduced.

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
