Broken firmware after High Sierra upgrade

hi all,
after had upgraded 4.1->5.1 mac pro succesfully high sierra (including firmware upgrade , apfs conversion of sm951), ran trouble rebooting macos drive separate windows ssd. 1 nvram reset later, problem fixed, noticed macos drive didn't show in bootcamp tool in windows 10 anymore. rebooting macos wasn't possible, tried enter startup manager pressing alt while booting. didn't work either. tried removing every drive except macos one, mac still booted non-existent windows partition (but cryptic error message missing boot disks). other key combination on boot nvram reset, recovery mode or secure mode doesn't work either. when press key combination, screen goes white, flashes once , windows boot screen appears. booting windows works fine, else broken. has idea how fix this?
lot.

1) firmware 100% normal, not broken. in fact, whole case has nothing firmware.
2) windows can't read apfs partition. that's why can't detect high sierra partition, , can't show in bootcamp control panel. if it's hfs+ partition, bootcamp work expected.
3) alt boot won't work because running gtx970. or mean running flashed 970 still doesn't work?
4) pram reset can make mac boot macos on next boot, break nvidia web driver.
5) pull out windows hard drive or can't use hot key boot recovery partition "normal" when target boot partition pointed windows drive.
6) again, nothing broken, it's don't know did.

fix it, easiest way put mac efi gpu in. can choose whatever boot partition want during boot (alt boot).

if can't use alt boot mac efi gpu (e.g. have keyboard issue), don't think pram rest can work well. however, since said can perform pram reset. so, news pram reset guarantee fix issue. automatically point target boot drive macos. however, in case, have figure out how re-activate nvidia web driver.
