Is a Static Night Clock App safe on new IPhone X Screen for long periods of time (Overnight)

beautiful phone & loving it.

did homework & new expect & have not disappointed.

notch ?

anyway , @ risk of getting lines & possible detention , there’s homework didn’t & im hoping can help.

have used night clock app displaying time through night , whilst plugged bedside dock. alarm set on 06:45 every morning & worked flawlessly. nice red clock , dimmed not bright enough distract.

concern in , new screen on new beautiful phone , time being static @ least 8 hrs cause screen burn , or whatever it’s called these days ? not going take risk on cost more laptop & tv !

apologies if daft question , maybe more savvy & informed , & if problem point me in direction of clock possibly moves phone screen , in turn solving problem.

i no, these screens better used be, working in mobile retail environment, see samsung phones shocking burn in after playing same demo reel 24 hours day.

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
