Macbook Pro 2017 15" - always wrecked when received.


hi!

have orderd 15 inch 2017 macbook pro 5 times. each time receive it, wrong. first time keyboard did not work. second time screen popped each time opened it. third time rattled when lifting it. fourth time rattles , parts loose in it. if lift or move it, can hear loose parts. getting 5th replacement now. if wrong give up.

question is, macbook pro shipped little protection? ruined in postal handling? have ordered full spec, , therefor shipped china. or fundamental wrong when putting macbook pro together.

love thoughts on this.
 

if rattle issue talking when shake machine side side, has been common since first retina macbook, , there nothing can it. there plastic sheet in display diffuses backlight screen evenly lit. needs loose since can expand bit. can hear thunk when slides around. nothing worry about.

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fin...

OWC Envoy Pro SSD Enclosure - Alternatives?

hi there! long time reader, first time poster! wondering if might able me out question. 2013 mbp w/ retina met unceremonious end courtesy of water damage. cost repair far worthwhile purchased replacement instead. however, turned out ssd (768gb!) appears ok. guy @ genius bar suggested third party external casing use (a) access data (since said apple charges $90cad or transfer over) , (b) use ssd external drive in future. kind enough remove ssd me. i found below option: https://eshop.macsales.com/item/owc/mau3envoypro/ i'm wondering if there other less expensive alternatives? couldn't find else online. owc enclosure not outrageously expensive i'm looking thrifty since don't plan on making use of it. thank much!   i in similar situation, 2013 500gb blade ssd after buying used rmbp mid 2015. noticed ssd installed 2013, complained , got later faster ssd plus keep ...
