step count while driving

i using aw series 3 since week.
step counter shows high values (more 10000 steps in half day).
have doubt count:
drive fotklift (maximum speed 10km/h) , have left hand on steering wheel.
doubt have this:
- accelerometer sees movement (forklift moving)
- gyroscope sees wrist movement
these 2 conditions considered walking aw software

possible?
idea avoiding false step count?

in specifica case think try wearing aw on right wrist (usually not moved while driving forklift)

on iphone in health app, can see steps data in timeline chart. take @ when you're achieving lot of steps , if coincides forklift driving, you're doing giving false steps.

i've never driven forklift, take grain of salt. maybe forklift vibrates lot , aw thinks you're walking. or perhaps you're listening billy idol , rocking out music.
