Did anyone's safari browser window act strange today?


i got apple's website again, weird. when went safari today search box on top saw "d." thought fluke, no big deal, closed , reopened it. got same thing. so, went preferences , sure enough, homepage listed "d." did happen you, again, have been having strange problems maybe changed because of problems thought fixed. though, fixed few days ago, bring today?
 

were able go ahead , change homepage prefer use safari?

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
