Is it worth buying for-parts-only mid-2011 iMac to repair it yourself?

i found listing mid-2011 imac $200 on cl following description:

"imac 27" (mid-2011). processor 2.7ghz intel core i5 (4 cores) 4gb memory 1333mhz ddr3 32 bit color new hard drive installed 2015 (in limited warranty until 12/11/19); factory reset completed repair shop.

sold parts only.

began having problems booting , shutting down without notice. took repair shop , determined power supply needs replaced. until power supply replaced unknown else may needed. decided not have repaired, selling parts (as whole)."

i've seen power supply listed on sites ifixit $135, taking chance @ possibility there more power supply needs replaced. i've never owned imac before (casual use on university campus only) , follow guide make sure correct. guys think general plan follow through with? there particular guide you'd recommend?
