giddy excitement on imminent release of amazon app atv, i’ve ordered myself atv in time christmas.

naive hope have atv access television , video. in particular want ditch sky tv.

i’ll close goal netflix, nowtv , (soon) amazon apps. , regular tv, bbc iplayer. itv, c4 , c5?

there sensible way this, or doomed use freeview on tv well?
 

i put antenna on roof capture local channels. connects tablo tuner\dvr in turn has ios , atv apps. so, tablo app on atv, ios, , mac (browser), see guide of local channels, can tune or records content , of content streams atvs on network. tablo can used wifi or ethernet connection network, , therefore can placed wherever easiest connect antenna.

so, if can on air broadcasts local stations, 1 way go. there others, 1 have used.

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fin...
