iPhone X Side button needs more than one tap to wake up phone problem

so i’ve been using x week , it’s great, there 1 bug annoys me, , hope if guys can tell me if it’s software issue:
after leaving phone while, when try wake phone using side button, nothing happens, when phone laying on surface. until press button second time screen wake, , after using while button works great wake or sleep, until rest phone again while , issue seems come back
problem not exit when try lock phone.
else got issue pressing side button won’t react?

i have try this, never use side button wake because find tap wake way more useful needing reach button.
