Small white glitch lines flash up on Macbook screen after installing new LED screen.


hi there,

decided manually fix old macbook pro in order make money selling on ebay. original issue led screen broken after being crushed in hold of airplane. small portion of led screen function normally, around 75% of screen covered in black or coloured lines or areas. bought brand new replacement led screen ebay , ensured correct specifications macbook pro. looked tutorial on how switch led screen , followed every step could, opening machine , taking screen apart in order fit new one.

once fitted new screen, new screen working well, except in specific area of right-hand side of screen, small, narrow horizontal lines flash before vanishing again. lines small , not appear on external when macbook plugged monitor or tv, know problem related led screen itself. here video took of issue can see in detail:

@ moment speculate problem due 1 of these 3 things, not sure:

1) i'm thinking problem might replacement led screen - think received faulty part?

2) failed reconnect video cable of replacement led when installed it? said, made sure did possible, doubt this.

3) perhaps video cable has fault (the cable connects led screen logic board). perhaps damaged when did installation, if extremely sensitive? have ordered replacement video cable in case issue, don't want go through bother of replacing if that's not going help.

if offer suggestions on this, appreciated. write specs macbook down below. thank much.

OWC Envoy Pro SSD Enclosure - Alternatives?
