Apple Home app for MacOS?


i felt missing moment started using apple homekit. today, hit me - no apple home app on macos. spent time searching mac app store , google , found thread on apple developers forum discussing missing app.

think noticed because iphone's battery dead, , wanted turn philips hue lights on in living room. ended using old fashioned wall switch, have been nice computer. @ computer writing article that's due tonight, , had break flow ( 1st world problem ) go turn lights on.

has in these forums heard peep apple adding homekit, apple home, apps mac? feel it's huge hole in drive unify ux across devices.

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
