Repair an Apple II Duo Disk Drive cable


anyone here willing repair apple ii duo disk drive cable. have cable duo disk drive, part plugs card or computer, pins broken off. figured know how repair cable how considering rest of cable intact (well far know is.).

if can please let me know, beyond me. tried making cable years ago apple ii , ended frying card. :(

what facing? did black plastic disintegrate, or wires cut/severed ? pic might others.

btw, @ distance, whilst help, freight worth more replacement cable. :(

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
