3rd gen Apple TV with iPhone 7


hi, i’m having trouble connecting 3rd generation apple tv iphone 7. on same network, neither 1 see other there, not bluetooth.

had trouble connecting 1st gen ipad mini apple tv, , found of features not comparable, i’m wondering if it’s same issue.

couldn’t find in google searches decided come fine folks know more i. thanks!
 

can define "connect"?

noticed atv , iphone connection issues can resolved restarts of things involved (iphone, atv, routers, et cetera) , logging out , home sharing.

fixes these type of things me. have read people changed channels of wifi on routers.

have connection issue myself can temporarily fixed restarts, comes back. atv4 not show in remote app on se. other atvs do, not atv4. restarts fix issue, comes back.

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
