iPad mini The iPad Mini is Dead, Long live the iPad Mini

i think talk mini being dead accurate. bought 1 brand new apple , came ios 10 on it. every device i've bought directly apple has current version of ios.

tried order directly at&t , three-day shipping window came , went changed month. best buy, target, b&h photo, usual suspects had wifi version, no lte models.

, before rips me buying one, it's in addition pro , replacement first gen mini, form-factor of mini best reading books figured better grab 1 before they're vanished.

oh well, fun while lasted.

 

i love , still use ipad mini 2 tho has cracked screen & broken home button. although haven't totally given on update mini, doesn't good. it's been 2 1/2 yrs since last updated. thats long time. plus rumors of 6.5" iphone 10x plus coming later year, perhaps mini discontinued. apple plans radically redesign ipad pros getting rid of bezels on iphone x. if screen sizes stay same, physical size of ipads should getting smaller.

still think there room ipad mini in line up. love able use apple pencil on ipad mini. apple release ipad mini pro? not. if pros updated in summer @ wwdc last year, perhaps there hope 1 last ipad mini update in march...just keep going bit further. if no updates ipad mini happen in 2018, think it'll safe sure mini dead apple.
