iPhone X iPhone X defective screen - touch not working


received iphone x apple preorder today , finishing setting -- able make phone call -- when screen became unresponsive touch.

have been on apple support via chat , have restored factory default via itunes -- no help. , best response walk store , see if can exchange it, or make appointment repair. can't tell me local stores might have stock exchange. give me phone number local store, says have many calls , automatically hangs on me.

how apple deals defective $1150 phone? pretty pathetic.
 

just go store. they’ll have replacements. do. i’m not sure else want them do. worst case ship new one. literally other phone manufacturer today defaults that.

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
