MacBook Pros (late 2011): RSD and White Screen


hello,

sister has received 2 mbp free. missing parts batteries, screws, ram, , hard drives, told still work. ordered parts needed , started working on them.

rsd:
once got installed inside computer, began install macos onto new ssd. took couple tries got it. began set , shut off midway through. thought pressed tried again, kept turning off midway through powering on.
have had problems not being able turn on mbp after turned off. have done multiple smc resets allows me turn in on once, still turns off while powering on , won't turn on without , smc reset.

other mbp - white screen:
after struggling first mbp decided try second 1 out. after installing internals, powered on machine , noticed whole bunch of grey lines running horizontally across screen. went through install of macos , once got 3/4 of way through, screen went white without horizontal lines.

if have experienced of before , have idea on going on, please let me know

they 2011 mbp's amd graphic's processor has failed. intel graphics processor still working switches amd 1 , white screen. fixed mine via web site http://realmacmods.com

Can I add RAM to 2017 MBP 13"?

OWC Envoy Pro SSD Enclosure - Alternatives?

hi there! long time reader, first time poster! wondering if might able me out question. 2013 mbp w/ retina met unceremonious end courtesy of water damage. cost repair far worthwhile purchased replacement instead. however, turned out ssd (768gb!) appears ok. guy @ genius bar suggested third party external casing use (a) access data (since said apple charges $90cad or transfer over) , (b) use ssd external drive in future. kind enough remove ssd me. i found below option: https://eshop.macsales.com/item/owc/mau3envoypro/ i'm wondering if there other less expensive alternatives? couldn't find else online. owc enclosure not outrageously expensive i'm looking thrifty since don't plan on making use of it. thank much!   i in similar situation, 2013 500gb blade ssd after buying used rmbp mid 2015. noticed ssd installed 2013, complained , got later faster ssd plus keep ...
