Magnetic/breakaway charging cable recommendations?


hi everyone. bit bullet , ordered myself new macbook pro replace aging macbook air. i'll no longer have "original" power charging port - can guys let me know tried , tested favorites on aftermarket breakaway cables? awful dog destroy new beautiful macbook if don't 1 pronto. cheers!
 

if you're referred magsafe cord/charger, there's zillion of them sale on ebay ($15 or so). bought 1 when macbook air charger failed , didn't last long. next 1 regular apple product because didn't want take chance on frying mba.

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
