My MacBook Pro 2011 just died on me...

i have 1 of 2011 15" mbp's have had graphic card repaired on extende warranty apple offered couple of years ago. however, started show various lines , stuff, when working in photoshop , indesign. restart, , worked again.

, came yesterday... doing work , screen got dark. heard working though, , after while went sleep refudsed wake up. did hard reset, , first thing on built in screen horizontal lines show (photo attached)...

progress bar shows though, after while computer shuts down, or eventualy stops grey background no more progress.

- when grey background shows, lines disappears.
- when start in terminal mode, line disappears.
- *not* able start in recovery mode or on sierra or high sierra start usb.
- *am* able start in target mode (with lines still showing).
- have backups on icloud drive , on local drives, , can reach files on target mode, no worries there.

so. me seems parts of graphic card works. maybe internal card works, not external?

there chance rescue machine? waiting next generation of mbp (2018), great if have work more months... since can start in terminal mode should able alter settings on gpu(s), don't have skillset such work.

, ideas appreciated!
