Backing up 5TB's without Time Machine

i have 5tbs worth of video spread across 3 different hard drives backed nas. how time machine able automated backups without me having maintenance, don't how put data inside sparse bundle potentially corrupted or pain retrieve files from. looked carbon copy cloner , looks promising it's not automated time machine.

recommendations mass data backup?

ccc has scheduling possibilities, in past i've used timed interval, daily or weekly backups, without intervention me once programmed.
these backups once programmed run automatically , silently in background.
