Dropbox Upload Speeds


i'm in process of uploading lot of video dropbox account. i'm using web client , super slow. i've avoided using mac app in past because didn't need it. know can increase upload speeds via mac app , cannot web client. guys have experience getting faster upload speeds using mac app , tweaking settings versus using website?
 

if stop uploading dropbox , run speed test (like http://speedtest.net), know max upload speed is.
can divide file size upload speed , see how long should take or use tool like: https://techinternets.com/copy_calc. keep in mind internet speed fast in download, slow in upload.

if time close seeing not benefit app.

Other Unknown error

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fin...
