hello!!
i've had mid-2012 macbook pro 13'' (2.9 i7 processor, 8 gb ram , 750 hdd) for 4 years now. started getting service battery warning, ran diagnostics , seems needs changed.
apple diagnostics:
(sorry bad picture quality)
, coconut:
local apple authorised sp gave me quote of €220 new one, wasn't clear on how long take. i'm college student, can't afford without laptop long.
i've started considering getting new one. options are:
- refurbished 2014 macbook pro retina 15' i7 2,2ghz/16gb/256 ssd €1,687
- refurbished 2014 macbook pro retina 15' i7 2 ghz/8gb/256 ssd €1,097
- new 2017 macbook pro 13" i5 3.1ghz 8gb 256gb w/ touch bar €1,759
- refurbished 2017 macbook pro 13" i5 3.1ghz 8gb 256gb w/ touch bar €1,699
my degree requires use photoshop , illustrator quite often, in addition premiere pro, after effects, audition, etc... of suite. understand cs6 doesn't work new os x, , can't afford creative cloud absurd annual fee.
considering this, should pay new battery or new one? if so, of options meet requirements best?
thanks!
there quality 3rd party batteries cheaper , can replaced easy in 2012 model.
if machines works , want/need keep , save new 1 @ later date if cost problem.
me, want 2012 , gotta stick 2010 can afford.
