Best drop protective case for iphone X?


i cannot find thread if has been asked before, forgive me if has.

have read how iphone x, glass front , cracked. ordered case otterbox. got commuter @ time pink case saw. wish new phones still offered in rose gold don't see option in 8 series or x. since these phone need cases protection guess color of them isn't important since covered.

here question. case can buy offers best drop protection , isn't ugly black case?

ordered screen protectors too.

phone won't here till dec 1st
 

i don't understand why apple doesn't build phone built in case. i'm sure 9/10 people put cheap plastic cases on them. makes no sense @ all. fanatical materials made , design of new phone , put cheap $10 case on them.. hilarious...

Other Unknown error

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fin...
