Cable Monster, help!


my beloved lenovo thinkpad died , moved on nice macbook pro tb 15" , can't explain how pleased new machine. should have made move years ago, whatever reason dragged feet.

however, swallowed alive cable monster. have mbp power cable , brick, usbc-usbc cable, usbc-iphone cable, headphones, iphone-headphone dongle, usb-micro usb cable, iphone-usb cable (for iphone), usbc-usb dongle , partridge in pear tree.

rest of road warriors tame cable monster? have nice floto briefcase wife gave me before passed , i'm going use until falls apart, need find way keep of cabling/wires in check. feel idiot digging through briefcase looking white apple cable. little velcro ties see on amazon best option? mentioned "cable board" in clips 8"x10" carbon fiber board slips briefcase pocket, haven't been able find one. other suggestions?

i’m little confused why need carry many cables. sounds mentioned 3 cables more once , usb micro cable?

power brick , cable usbc usbc cable. don’t need 2 iphone cables, usba cable , dongle/adapter. not sure why need micro usb, assume charging device. have lots of lightning/micro combo cables work charging either device. transfer data iphone computer while traveling, cable can too.

carry power brick , cable, can’t around that. lightning/micro combo cable , 1 usbc usba adapter. have headphone dongle attached headphones. seems have same cable setup, it’s far cable rats nest. did miss something?

OWC Envoy Pro SSD Enclosure - Alternatives?
