cMP 5.1 GPU for FCPX Video edit


hi all,

using mac pro 2010, 3.46ghz x 2 cpu, 48gb ram, samsung 951 pcie ssd, amd 7950 mac edition now.

want upgrade gpu video editing, 1 better old machine ?

rx 580 , vega 56 , gtx 1070 , gtx 1080 1 better performance in pricing ?

for fcpx, 10.13.2, rx580.

nvidia unable perform in fcpx due lack of software optimisation apple.

vega has fan issue in 10.13.2, , no sign of fix apple @ moment.

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
