iMac Pro registered as iPhone 7@Apple


seems device registration system not understand imac pro; mine got registered iphone 7. else issue, or "special" case? ;)
 

yep, i'm seeing too. looks apple has not had time create icon/image new machine yet!

OWC Envoy Pro SSD Enclosure - Alternatives?

hi there! long time reader, first time poster! wondering if might able me out question. 2013 mbp w/ retina met unceremonious end courtesy of water damage. cost repair far worthwhile purchased replacement instead. however, turned out ssd (768gb!) appears ok. guy @ genius bar suggested third party external casing use (a) access data (since said apple charges $90cad or transfer over) , (b) use ssd external drive in future. kind enough remove ssd me. i found below option: https://eshop.macsales.com/item/owc/mau3envoypro/ i'm wondering if there other less expensive alternatives? couldn't find else online. owc enclosure not outrageously expensive i'm looking thrifty since don't plan on making use of it. thank much!   i in similar situation, 2013 500gb blade ssd after buying used rmbp mid 2015. noticed ssd installed 2013, complained , got later faster ssd plus keep ...
