i love openness , way talk personal life ... don't see here ... enjoyed reading post ! so, kudos that.

not macos expert. but, when comes storing sensitive data, have rather simple solution ... encrypted dmg file password-protected.

1 - put data in folder. let's call "exes"

2 - open disk utility, select file > new image > image folder

3 - in dialog shown, select exes folder. give image file name. then, "encryption", choose 128 bit encryption option. image format, choose read/write, allow modify image later (when want add/remove files it). click save.

4 - then, try opening .dmg file created. should prompt password. make sure unselect "remember password in keychain'. don't want remember password. enter password, , image mounted. can browse folder put in there, make changes, whatever. when you're done, make sure unmount image (by clicking eject icon in finder), otherwise access computer able see contents of image.

5 - you're done ! everytime want access folder, repeat step 4.

easy, fast, secure, , effective solution, in opinion.

hope helps, , luck new gal :d
