3 GPUS in mac


hi guy possible install 3 double gpus in mac pro 2009 looking around , looking @ gpu risers there performance issues when come having 3 gpus or when 1 using risers.

found guy on tube build him self external gpu box using on mac think or mac old , build pc

 

it's possible install 3 double wide gpu without riser.

1st gpu in slot 1
2nd gpu in slot 2 (and block slot 3)
3rd gpu in slot 4 (and block hdd bay 2,3,4)

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
